Edit-Point @ sound lab with the Gildas Quartet

Edit-Point return to sound lab for the final concert of the year to perform a programme centering around George Crumb’s seminal Black Angels performed by special guests, the Gildas quartet. The Crumb concludes a concert including work by members Timothy Cooper, Matthew Whiteside and Louise Rossiter.

At this event you’ll also have a chance to try Tim’s installation, Dora, during the interal. Named after the typewriter that inspired, and provided sounds for the piece, it gives you the chance to compose your

own piece by typing three sentences about the concert that you’re attending.

Programme to include

Pippa Murphy – Kamala Kantha
Louise Rossiter – TTC
Timothy Cooper – Skate ‘n’ Shuttle/Roll and Smash

<interval>

George Crumb – Black Angels
Matthew Whiteside – Quartet No. 3
